Josie’s mother gave a word to each of her children when they were with her in the hospital, right after they were born.
Her word was sparkle.
So, the glitter and balloons her mom left as props for us, HAD to be used. They just did.
After our time together, I have a few more words about Josie that I could add…thoughtful, smart, introspective, gorgeous, open and kind…
I think all of these qualities will help with her interest in psychology and in the performing arts.
To sparkle means, among other things, to shine brightly, with a lot of small points of light. She does that, in so many ways…
As always, I’m grateful for the privilege to make portraits of incredible people. Thanks Josie.
